While the historical record is limited, it certainly looks like George Williams could flat-out hit. We have given him a year at age 20, and filled in a few years in the middle of his career. He does make a brief reappearance in the historical record in 1906, but we end his career in 1893 (although the simulation may extend it a bit past then, but not into his 40s, we would hope).
Williams could be among the league leaders in hits in 1890.
