James Robinson is another useful two-way player.
On the mound, he had several years as a valuable innings-eater; in the outfield, he had a few peak seasons where he deserved a roster spot even if he didn’t pitch. The challenge is that he is missing a handful of seasons in the early 1900s, and constructing a career path that both feels reasonable and doesn’t push on credulity was difficult. If anything, we think Robinson may have deserved brighter peaks, both ways.
