Manuel López

Career Batting:.221 BA .271 OBP .251 SLG. 1 HR. 2,466 PA.(1896-1905)

López is another pretty standard fringe player: could make some contact, could steal a base. But no eye for the strike zone, little power, and an awful fielder. In 1900/1901 he could make an argument as a part-time player, but those would be the only seasons where that was possible, and even there, he would struggle around league average.

We added some years at the start of his career, and then have him fade from the game in 1905, seeing his 1908 reappearance in real life as a fluke.
