Another two-way player, Selden is a bit of a conundrum. As a batter, he didn’t make a ton of contact, but when he did, the ball flew. He had unusual power, which made him useful even when his batting average struggled to top .200. He did not have a good eye.
On the mound, he was consistently useful: hard to hit, not a ton of walks. Just … useful.
He has a pretty consistent historical record, limiting the number of fictional seasons to some filler, and keeping his two-way status consistent.
